The rooms were a nice size. Liked the set up of the suite as the bedroom and living room were large and the bathroom had two entrances. They were a little dated and showed a little sign of age, but overall clean and comfortable. It was nice having a view of the lagoon and being so close to the airport and not far from downtown. Breakfast was good, enjoyed the waffles. I would recommend this hotel.

As I was staying in 2nd flooring. Housing keeping Belmy was great, she always, keep the room spotless. She love her job, she is very respectful, and she will make your stay very special and comfortable

First Impression...everything looked fine..parking, checkin was fine..We had booked 2 rooms for 2 couples...I paid for both rooms. Our friends were in a room on the 3rd floor and we were on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. Upon entering our room we were hit by an odour that resembled fried Bacon...it was quite noticeable. BUT we had reservations downtown so were in a hurry..so we quickly changed and headed out. We came back around 1am and the smell was there. Put the exhaust fan on over the stove to try and filter the smell and closed the bedroom door to avoid the smell and got into bed...Well the sheets had the same odour. but we were so tired we just tolerated it. The next morning At breakfast. I informed the front desk Agent about the smell and he typed into the system that it would be taken care of as we were leaving for the day... Well after touring Miami we were back in the room at 1145p expecting the smell to be gone BUT it was still there. ..I phone the front desk and explained the smell was still there. at which point he apologised and I went down to talk to him face to face to explain that this was not acceptable...He gave me a can of Room deodorising spray to spray in the room to try and cover up the smell..( he should have offered me a room switch ...but didn't. and said he would mention it to the manager. We left after breakfast the next morning as we were on an organized tour. and I mentioned to the front desk to please rectify the situation. Again. got back to our room at 1am ...smell was there at which point we decided to check out in the morning and Check into a Marriot( Im a Marriott Gold Elite Member). I didn't bring it up further with the management as nothing was done to rectify the situation ...Just a cheap air freshener was provided. Asked the other couple if they noticed any smell...they said they did BUT didn't want to say anything as I was paying for their rooms...This Homewood Suites failed Miserably in rectifying the situation.. We stayed in the Marriott and it was nothing Fancy ..BUT. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN..no odour whatsoever and the sheets didn't read of Bacon scent..Very Disappointed. Will never stay there again... Wasn't offered any kind of compensation whatsoever....I was then told that a lot of airlines stay there so maybe they could care less about regular guests because their airline crew revenue is so much. Will avoid Homewood's in the future

I spent two months there and I have to say I had a really good time, the hotel staff makes you feel at home, Mrs. Lucrecia and her team did a very good job, the room was great, very clean, quiet, the food for breakfast everyday and small snack from Monday to Thursday from 5:30pm-07:00pm, that was very good free drinks, also the staff very friendly. The only issue is that the internet signal at the room is weak and disconnect very often. I would definitely stay again on my future trips to Miami. Thank you everyone

Everyone from the shuttle driver to the breakfast staff was exceptionally kind and patient. The lobby was full of excited guests waiting for the shuttle to the cruise terminal, including our 4 grandkids!! Farrah at the front desk made us feel like we were long time friends. She was extremely delightful and incredibly helpful with our check in, needs and requests!! Would highly recommend!!!
